To: Members of the CLC Canadian Council, Federations of Labour, Labour Councils and CLC Staff
Please find below materials for International Women’s Day (IWD) focused on our theme #WeAreTheRecovery.
We know the COVID-19 pandemic has set gender equality back decades. Our objective is to raise awareness about the biggest challenges facing women in Canada, and to put pressure on decision makers to put women’s economic justice at the centre of recovery plans. We will be inviting Canadians from coast to coast to coast to take part in online actions and engagement in the lead up and on March 8.
Below, you will find links to the following downloadable files:

We will be sending e-blasts in the lead up to and on IWD, and localized versions will be provided to labour councils.
We will be posting the CLC’s statement on IWD on March 8 for sharing as well, and stay tuned for a surprise video to commemorate the day.
For any other questions, please contact our communications team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
