IAM responds to WestJet acquisition of Sunwing

02 March 2022 Toronto, ON – Canadians were made aware of a significant transaction in the airline industry today when WestJet will acquire Sunwing Vacations and Sunwing Airlines. The IAM currently represents approximately 40 members at Sunwing Airlines since they joined the union in 2018. Machinists from Local Lodge 1751 at Swissport ratify new contract

18 February, 2022 Montreal, QC – Fifty IAM Local Lodge 1751 members working at Swissport in Montreal voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new contract. Solid first agreement for IAM members at Vision Truck

Over the weekend 66 employees of Vision Truck, Brampton voted in favour of a first Collective Agreement.
