Dogs for Dogs 2026: District 78 Gives Back!

September is Guide Dogs Awareness Month, and on September 12, 2026, members of IAM District 78 came together for our first annual Dogs for Dogs fundraiser in support of IAM’s charity, GDA TLC Canada.

GDA TLC Canada helps provide guide dogs and service animals to members of our communities who rely on these animals for greater independence, mobility, and support in their daily lives. Through fundraising and community support, we help contribute to the important work of connecting people with animals trained to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

This year, District 78 tried a new crowdsourced fundraising platform and challenged our members to form teams, raise funds, and take part in a walk supporting GDA TLC Canada.

Together, our teams raised over $2,200 for GDA TLC Canada!

This was our first year, and District 78 is proud of the support shown by our members. We look forward to expanding the reach of Dogs for Dogs next year and getting even more IAM members involved.
