Automation across the Nation: IAMAW Study of Technological Change
After a busy and challenging year that has re-prioritized work in support of our members, the IAMAW is back on track with a study of automation and artificial intelligence. As businesses adapt to new pandemic realities, technological innovation is given a high priority, and understanding what this means for our members is critical.
Our society is on the precipice of a Fourth Industrial Revolution, one that will bring monumental changes. To gain an understanding of the implications of these changes, the IAMAW embarked on a project that examined trends in industries members work in, including focus groups with members across the country. This has given our organization insight into what change looks like, and how we can advocate for members at the bargaining table, as well as Parliament Hill.
Follow us on social media as we share insights from the study and count down towards the release of the report.
