IAM Union International President Brian Bryant spoke with CBC about the impact of U.S. tariffs on Canada and why workers on both sides of the border deserve a fair trade deal, not more trade barriers.
Bryant said, “USW and IAM Union are calling on the U.S. Trade Representative to reconsider tariffs on Canadian goods and instead strengthen the long-standing trade partnership between Canada and the United States.”
Canada has always been a trusted trading partner of the United States, and we want to see that partnership continue protecting good union jobs and strengthening our shared economy.
