BUILDING STRONGER UNION REPRESENTATION THROUGH STEWARD TRAINING

IAM District 78 hosted a Basic Steward Training course on June 19, 2026, bringing together Stewards from across the district to strengthen their skills and knowledge.

Participants received valuable training on steward responsibilities, grievance handling, workplace representation and effective communication with members and management. The course provided stewards with practical tools to confidently advocate for members and uphold their collective agreements.

District 78 remains committed to investing in steward education and developing strong workplace leaders who are prepared to support and represent our members every day.
