Hobart Service Members – Ratify STRONG new three year term Collective Agreement and win BIG!

A strong team delivers strong results! The bargaining committee of Steven Straub, Hoon Kim and Jamius Alcide, under the expert guidance of District 78 Business Representative, Sara Mitchell, worked tirelessly to secure a new three year Collective Agreement that delivered meaningful gains for the membership.

The ratified agreement includes substantial first -year wage increases, 3% annual increases in Years 2 and 3, improved vacation, health and welfare benefits, paid sick days and one new steward to strenghten member representation.

The membership voted overwhelmingly to ratify the agreement on August 6, 2026.
