IAM Local 2797 members working at NSTU ratify new agreement

 IAM members from Local 2797 working for the Nova Scotia Teachers’ Union (NSTU) ratified a new contract last week. There were a number of improvements to their contract which saw the agreement ratified by a large margin. Some of the gains saw improvements in numerous areas, including Kyle Marryatt signs off on the ratified agreement. “It was a long set of negotiations; we first went to the table in February.
