General Meeting, BBQ, and Celebration

District 78 fired up the grill on Thursday, June 13, 2019, capping off its last General Meeting before the summer with a barbecue.

As always, union business goes better with food.

The focus of the meeting was the reading of potential changes to the District 78 bylaws.

The meeting also afforded the opportunity to honour and celebrate member Betty Williams (Local Lodge 1295) for her 50 years of service to IAM.

Thank you Betty for your dedication and tireless work in service to our union. Your contributions are an inspiration to the labour movement.

Next General Meeting

The next District 78 General Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019, starting at 6:30 p.m., at the District 78 office (557 Dixon Road, Unit 102, Toronto).
