IAM Stands Solidly Behind Team Unite CLC 2020

The Canadian Machinists (IAM) have added their name to the ever-growing list of supporters for #TeamUniteCLC.

“I am pleased to stand in Rock Solid support of #TeamUniteCLC – Bea Bruske, Lily Chang, and Siobhan Vipond. These are three strong sisters who will work to bring the Canadian Labour Congress together and make it stronger for all workers across Canada,” said IAM General Vice-President Stan Pickthall.

“There are many challenges ahead for workers in both public and private sectors. We are confident that the team led by Sister Bea Bruske is the best leadership available to working families. They are all life-long labour activists who have been committed leaders in their own organizations. We look forward to working with them as the labour movement continues to build power for workers across Canada.”

The IAM is committed to working with these great leaders to continue building the strength and solidarity of a United Canadian Labour Congress.

Under the leadership of the team led by Bea Bruske, Lily Chang, and Siobhan Vipond, the IAM believes the labour movement and all workers are well-positioned to meet the challenges of the future.
