Kohltech Windows and Entrance Systems Ratifies new three-year agreement

North Bay, ON – IAM members of Local Lodge 2412 working at Kohltech Windows are happy to have ratified a new three-year Collective Agreement with the new ownership group formerly known as Seymour Windows.

Highlights of the deal include annual wage increases, implementation of a dental plan, increased shift premiums, signing bonus and many other positive language changes.

Grand Lodge Representative Ralph Martin said of the negotiations, “I want to thank the Negotiating Committee, who committed many hours getting the deal. Despite the pandemic which interfered with work and home life, they worked hard for the greater good of the membership.”

The 38 members manufacture casement windows, double-hung, double slider, and picture windows, specialty and bay windows, custom doors, doors and sidelights, entry doors, French doors and garden doors for the home renovation and new home construction industry.

Kohltech Windows and Entrance Systems, based in Debert Nova Scotia, have production facilities in Debert, Nova Scotia, Edmonton, Alberta and North Bay, Ontario.
