OPCM- Ontario Provincial Council of the IAM

Due to the pandemic, for the first time in over 3 years the Ontario Provincial Council of the IAM Union met over the weekend. In addition to discussing political action, mentoring and organizing, a new executive was elected to serve for the next 3 years.
The delegates to the conference reflected the growing diversity of the IAM Union in Ontario. There were also a record number of first time delegates in attendance, due in part, to some inclusive actions taken by District 78. Close to one hundred delegates participated in the event, which was hosted by IAM Local 905 in Ajax, Ontario.
