IAM Local 1295 Member Betty Williams Knits Slippers For Those In Need

IAM Local Lodge 1295 Women’s Committee member, Betty Williams, was recently at the District 78 Toronto office to show how she has been spending her time in physical distancing. Betty has been busy knitting slippers for the homeless, which will be delivered to a local Etobicoke shelter for distribution to those in need. Sister Williams is a proud 51 year IAM member, who, in retirement, continues to support her Union and her community.

General Meeting, BBQ, and Celebration

District 78 fired up the grill on Thursday, June 13, 2019, capping off its last General Meeting before the summer with a barbecue. As always, union business goes better with food.
