District 78 Talks Organizing and Election Prep, Celebrates Organizing Award at General Meeting
On Thursday, September 26, 2019, IAM District Lodge 78 held its September General Meeting.
The meeting was well attended, with discussion focusing on:
- Ongoing organizing work.
- Getting out the vote for the Federal Election on Monday, October 21, 2019.
- Communications strategy.
- Review of District financials.
2018 Organizing Award
Directing Business Representative Kim Valliere also used the opportunity of the meeting to present to the membership the award bestowed on the District for organizing the most members in 2018.
The District accepted the 2018 Organizing Award at the IAM International Staff Conference early in September 2019.

Please remember that as a result of our recent bylaw changes we now have General Meetings every other month (excluding July and August).
